My Review for Fallen (Fallen book #1) by Lauren Kate

Book & Author:  Fallen (Fallen book #1) by Lauren Kate
Publisher: Random House Children's Books
Publish Date: December 2009
Number of pages: 464

Rating and why: <3<3<3< 3 1/2 hearts because it was REALLY GOOD but... REALLY CONFUSING and as a reader i felt like it was so confusing just so you can stay interested and by the second Torment (it came out the 28 of September!!) and (not so soon to be) third book Passion
Spoilers: i give away that this book is confusing, and that you can't really trust anybody in this book

The Summery (from Goodreads.com) :
There’s something achingly familiar about Daniel Grigori.
Mysterious and aloof, he captures Luce Price’s attention from the moment she sees him on her first day at the Sword & Cross boarding school in sultry Savannah, Georgia. He’s the one bright spot in a place where cell phones are forbidden, the other students are all screw-ups, and security cameras watch every move.
Even though Daniel wants nothing to do with Luce–and goes out of his way to make that very clear–she can’t let it go. Drawn to him like a moth to a flame, she has to find out what Daniel is so desperate to keep secret . . . even if it kills her.

Plot: it was really good even though we don't technically really know whats going on.
Characters: Luce was annoying in a bad way -especially at the ending 150 pages- and so was Daniel -because he was a douchebag and just assumed he would get Luce- but everyone else was pretty good

Who I fell in love with:
CAM!!! oh cam was AMAZING......until the end.GOD DAMN IT!!! i not gonna tell you guys whats up. but just know that after you have read this book come back and read my review and you will understand me when i say "WHO CAN I TRUST!?!?!!" I trusted Daniel (even though he was a douche until about 100pgs till the end, the #1 love interest) Cam (the 2nd love interest), Gabbe (pronounced Gabby, because that tripped me up a little), and Miss Sophia (the librarian), some people i named i trusted beyond a doubt for reasons unknown and others i trusted and just got blindsided. Then i got mad because i didn't feel like i could trust anybody in the book and i would, personally, like to have at least one stable person to trust in the book, and i didn't feel like i had that.

My Thoughts:
once again i say it was REALLY GOOD but... REALLY CONFUSING and i felt like it was so confusing just so i could stay interested and want to read her other books. i felt like the whole book was this quest to find the truth and even when we find out what some of the truth is, we still know that we're missing about 987 out of 1000 secrets that EVERYBODY is keeping, and when i say everybody i mean it. seriously when and/ or if you read this book don't trust anybody you get an iffy feeling about, because they're probably hiding something.

HELLO GUYS the My Soul To Take video review is up now just click HERE
and i got my first ARC (Advanced Readers Copy) yesterday *insert extremely excited face here* of Vixen (The Flappers #1) by Jillian Larkin that comes out December 12th, 2010
Jazz . . . Booze . . . Boys . . . It’s a dangerous combination.
Every girl wants what she can’t have. Seventeen-year-old Gloria Carmody wants the flapper lifestyle—and the bobbed hair, cigarettes, and music-filled nights that go with it. Now that she’s engaged to Sebastian Grey, scion of one of Chicago’s most powerful families, Gloria’s party days are over before they’ve even begun . . . or are they?
Clara Knowles, Gloria’s goody-two-shoes cousin, has arrived to make sure the high-society wedding comes off without a hitch—but Clara isn’t as lily-white as she appears. Seems she has some dirty little secrets of her own that she’ll do anything to keep hidden. . . .
Lorraine Dyer, Gloria’s social-climbing best friend, is tired of living in Gloria’s shadow. When Lorraine’s envy spills over into desperate spite, no one is safe. And someone’s going to be very sorry. .
From debut author Jillian Larkin, VIXEN is the first novel in the sexy, dangerous, and ridiculously romantic new series set in the Roaring Twenties . . . when anything goes.
